Second trimester doc. appointment!

Hey everyone! Thank you for all the lovely comments you left us on the first post. I am now 16 weeks! We had our first second-trimester doc visit on the 16th. It was so amazing! We got to hear the heartbeat again and we, of course, got to see the baby! Our midwife tried to see if it was a girl or a boy, but the little bug was being modest and just wanted us to see it's hands! We do have an official appointment at Focused Imaging on August 7th to find out the sex. We are so excited and just itching to find out what we are having!! I don't think we handle suspense well - hahaha. We will be posting the fun news as soon as we find out!! My midwife said that I as down 1 lb at this appointment which is pretty normal for this time. ( I was pretty sick at the beginning). But now I should be gaining 1 lb a week - not really excited about that, but I want a healthy baby :-) I am starting to show now, which is fun! I had to buy my first pair of maternity pants and they are so comfy! Pregnancy is fun! As soon as I learn how to post pictures on this thing I will get some ultra sound pics up. Thanks for reading!!
